On Saturday, 25 November 2017 numerous families will enjoy a 5km fun walk/run to commence at the corner of Boland and Protea roads Vierlanden, Durbanville to raise funds for the National Osteoporosis Foundation of South Africa.

NOFSA is the only non-profit, voluntary health organisation dedicated to promoting lifelong bone health in South Africa. There is much excitement about the event as the first 200 entrants will receive goodie bags and the first 200 runners to finish the race will receive medals. Amazing prizes are up for grabs sponsored by local favourite restaurants such as RocoMamas, Spur, Oppiekoffie, Ou Meul Bakkery and Mugg & Bean. Other prize sponsors include a 2-night stay for two at the President Hotel, a 2-night stay for four with the Guest Company and a full day package for two at Bakwena Day Spa.

Registration is free for children aged 0-7 years. Adult registration is R100, while children aged 8-18 years can register for R60. Runners will also be able to enter on the day but only pre-registrations will receive a goody bag. Registrations are now open on www.osteoporosis.org.za/events

Funds raised at the event will help us make a noise about this Silent Disease and increase awareness about Osteoporosis.
